A mother cries out,
"end my pain!"
A granddaughter cries out,
"end the pain of my grandmother!"
The one who comes to her aid,
they have not listened to her voice;
but she reaches out,
touches the face of the woman,
taking away her pain.
She does this at her own expense,
offering peace;
at the expense of her own pleasure.
Nobody has seen her do this,
for she did all this in secret;
as she suffered in her bed,
crying out to God,
"do not destroy Your children!"
God offered to her a good life,
but she rejected this gift from God;
taking up pain,
forsaking her own pleasure.
One thing she has asked for,
it shall be granted unto her;
a ripened fruit from a tree,
whose seed is planted in the earth.
The tree is now in her possession,
to do with whatever she desires;
the fruit now goes forth to multiply.
