The world seeks out an answer,
but will not look to the cross;
inherent in his blood & water,
is all the knowledge of God.

If you cannot find the source,
what good is product;
but they flock to product,
forsaking the source of goodness.

The source of the river,
is the pierced heart of Jesus;
this is where goodness flows from.

I challenge you to approach him.

Here, in split flesh of a heart,
I go to ask of him;
"grant me the taste of bitterness,
O Jesus,
to taste of lukewarm souls."

The good, I know,
is to taste of the bad;
for in this, there is profit.

Who then takes up the cross, Jesus,
is it The Church of Rome;
who tastes of product,
forsaking all the source.

Let me, Jesus, taste the bad,
and place this suffering;
next to you upon your cross,
this is the wisdom of the saints.
