There is but one path to Heaven,
it is opened up to a soul;
who comes before God's throne,
weeping in sorrow for their sins.

If a soul can sorrow over her wrongs,
there is nothing more it must do;
for God will provide that soul,
everything it needs to enter Heaven.

This comes through the key virtue,
which all holy souls possess;
the virtue of humility,
which speaks the words of Michael,
"who can be like God."

I will tell you, Michael,
the one who can be like God;
they need not power and strength,
but only to put themselves low,
for God is a servant to His creatures.

Satan demands great power,
then demands his servants serve;
through force and strength,
makes slaves of his underlings.

But God relinquishes power,
by granting us free will;
and in so doing,
gives up The Master's whip,
and lets each soul decide,
whether or not to love Him.

God is a God of freedom.
